INSURANCE

Nobody wants to think about their dog being really ill, involved in an accident, running way or even being stolen.  However it happens, and it happens to someone every day of the week.  I hope it never happens to you or me.  But just in case.....

Vet bills can be sudden, unexpected and sometimes 'expensive'.  And it normally happens just at the 'wrong time'.  Drugs and a vets time and expertise as well as nursing care all has to be paid for.

Having been involved with horses most of my life, and having had 3 of my own (sadly no more) insuring my 'pet' has been second nature to me.

Max has been insured since the moment I picked him up.  I feel more comfortable knowing that he is covered and I would  recommend that every dog is insured.  However since I had first insured an animal the whole experience seems more 'complicated',  there are  more companies and options as regards cover and level of insurance.  I have listed companies below that have a good reputation and offer levels of cover to suit us all.

Whilst the main reason we get insurance is to get vet fee costs covered, there are many other things to look for, help if you dog gets lost. causes an accident or is stolen, consider what cover you need before you sign up.  You may find that your trainer or vet will be able to offer advice on those that they are confident to deal with.

I hope you find the listings below helpful.  These are all listed in good faith.  Should I have any bad reports of any company I will remove them from my listings.
